Flower Care Guide

In order to ensure the longevity and to keep your flowers looking as fresh as possible, we have put together this easy care guide to help you properly care for and enjoy your flowers.

General Care Tips

Unpacking: Upon receiving your floral arrangement, carefully remove the packaging. Completely unwrap your bouquet from paper and floral tape/string. Be cautious when handling delicate blooms and foliage.

Watering: Keep your flowers hydrated! For bouquets, fill a clean vase with fresh, room temperature water all to the top of your vase. Remove any leaves that will be submerged in the water to prevent bacterial growth.

Change the water every one to two days to keep it clean and fresh. The easiest way to do this with an already assembled arrangement is to simply flush out the old water by running the vase water under the faucet.

Trimming: For bouquets, trim about an inch off the stems at an angle before placing them in the vase using clean scissors or shears. This helps the flowers absorb water more efficiently.

Bacteria Management: Make sure that there are no leaves under the water line Leaves in the water will cause bacteria to grow much faster and should be removed.

Display Location: Place your arrangement away from direct sunlight, heat sources, ripening fruit. Extreme temperature changes can cause the flowers to wilt quickly.

Frequent Check-ups: Regularly check your arrangement for any signs of wilting or dead flowers. Promptly remove any spent flowers or foliage to maximize the life of your arrangement.
